Audison C2O - COAX TO OPTICAL CONVERTER

Audison C2O is a C2O interface that converts the signals acquired by the coaxial digital input and the analog AUX-IN input into a TOSLINK optical digital output signal (up to 24 bit / 192kHz).

The conversion allows to integrate the new Hi-Res portable devices equipped with coaxial digital output (75 Ω) and smartphones with analog output on 3.5 mm mini Jack (also with 4 poles) with all devices equipped with optical digital input compatible with the resolution of the signal sent to the C20. Thanks to the high compactness, the C20 can be installed in a hidden and accessible position, drastically reducing the length of the electrical cable between the portable reader and the receiving device thus eliminating the problems of interfacing.

 Audison C2O features:

• The coaxial digital input is equipped with an isolation transformer that improves the coupling between the transmitter and the receiver circuit, reducing the noise due to EMI electro-magnetic interference, which is particularly insidious inside the passenger compartment.
• The AUX-IN input is equipped with a pre-amplifier with adjustable gain from 0.1V ÷ 2V for optimal coupling with each device and a high quality Analog-Digital converter.
• For maximum ease of use, the C2O independently selects the active input and in case of simultaneous signals, it gives priority to the AUX-IN. With the default setting, after 6 seconds of absence of analog signal, the C20 switches to the coaxial digital input. Using an internal switch, the time before the switch can be increased to 9 or 12 seconds.
