Hertz SS 15 D2 380mm subwoofer of the SPL SHOW series is suitable for SPL competitions and reaches a maximum power of 2400W

The new SS 12 D2 and SS 15 D2 subwoofers, with a diameter of 30 cm (12 inches) and 38 cm (15 inches) respectively, are eager to impress fans with their power. They have a reinforced suspension system with a double-layer progressive spider that maintains constant performance over time, especially in the heavy use typical of the bass.

Heat dissipation is essential for this type of use and has been maximized thanks to an accurate design The use of a robust 75 mm (3 inch) double winding (2 +2 Ω) mobile coil developed in a 4-layer configuration on a support with ventilation holes allows the SS 12 D2 and ?? SS 15 D2 to manage respectively 2000 W and 2400 W of peak power! They are subwoofers equipped with designed for optimal heat dissipation and high mechanical strength.

Unpressed paper cone with the addition of cotton fiber: it is the ideal compromise between rigidity and lightness, essential for high sensitivity and value. The suspensions and leadwires are oversized to withstand the very high excursions generated by the massive ferrite engine.

The push connectors accept cables with section up to 12 AWG, for a practical and safe connection, suitable for the high currents involved.
