Hertz HCP 5MD 24V marine amplifier features a compact design, ready to face the open water environment while providing a large amount of power.
This marine amplifier has the HCP M heatsink which has been made of extruded aluminum, a material unmatched for lightness, strength and heat dissipation. To keep size to a minimum, power transistors are placed between the PCB and the top side of the heat sink where the heat is collected. The heat generated is then directed to the special dissipation "wings" along the side of the amplifier.
Both the Pre-In and Speaker-In inputs are equipped with a special balanced circuit, which guarantees a high reduction of electromagnetic interference for noise-free results. The crossover section of the HCP M amplifiers guarantees extreme flexibility: fully adjustable low-pass, high-pass filters with 12 dB / oct. and 24 dB / oct. according to the model of the amplifier; the Bass Boost function is available to boost the low frequencies.
More specifically HCP 5MD 24V is suitable for a five-channel system with subwoofer, a front channel + sub system that uses the integrated front and rear filters which also include a bass boost circuit and a subsonic filter.
