Hertz CX 690 elliptical three-way coaxial with a 6 × 9 inch cone, has been designed to obtain maximum performance in horizontal installations and to offer, even in these difficult conditions, exceptional tone balance and power management.

Hertz CX 690 main features:

• 6x9 inch semi-pressed paper elliptical cone SPP-M (Semi Pressed Paper-Mica) enriched with mica powder for an excellent balance between lightness and damping.
• Large rubber suspension designed for long travel and excellent sound damping.
• High density flow ferrite magnet combined with low carbon polar plates to reduce distortion at high power levels.
• Metallic finish basket combined acoustically with a rubber magnet for total damping of spurious vibrations.
• 40mm (1.58 inch) dome tweeter for efficient reproduction of medium to high frequencies without distortion.
• 20mm (0.8 inch) dome superweiler to maximize the level of very high frequencies in horizontal installations.
• Geometry of the tweeter front panel optimized with FEM (Finite Element Modeling) simulations, to provide an extremely linear frequency response in off-axis installations.
• Equipped with an elegant grid made with a high-strength ABS plastic structure with a metallic finish combined with a protective metal mesh.
