Coaxial speakers represent a significant design challenge, to achieve high performance requires a great design effort, regularly addressed by the Hertz R&D team.
Hertz CX 570 has a new tweeter with a dome in Tetolon® 24 mm (0.9 in.) Has a more musical and detailed sound than the more traditional plastic materials. Thanks to the RHFC ™ system, the tweeter can be oriented towards the listening point to optimize the response at high frequencies. As for the two-way system woofers, SPP-M (Semi Pressed Paper-Mica) cones with superior acoustic and damping characteristics are also used in the coaxials.

Hertz CX 570 strengths:

• Soft dome tweeter in 24 mm (0.9 in.) Tetolon® with ferrofluid cooled coil, for extended and natural high frequencies.
• Rotary High Frequency Contour (RHFC ™) tweeter for optimal off-axis dispersion and frequency response at the listening point.
• Adjustable high frequency system for a perfect frequency response to any listening point.
• Faceplate of the tweeter with optimized geometry with FEM (Finite Element Modeling) simulations, to provide an extremely linear off-axis frequency response.
• 25 mm (1 in.) Diameter woofer coil with aluminum former to ensure high excursion and power handling.
• 5x7 in Semi Pressed Paper-Mica (SPP-M) semi-pressed paper cone. enriched with Mica powder for an excellent balance between lightness and damping.
• High flux density ferrite magnet combined with low carbon polar plates for less distortion at high power levels.
• Compact and transparent four-spoke basket acoustically combined with a rubber magnet cover for total damping of spurious vibrations.
• Elegant grill supplied with high-strength ABS plastic structure with metallic finish combined with a protective metal mesh.
