Audison bit Play HD is the first high resolution compatible media server specially developed for car audio.
By connecting the optical output of the bit Play HD to a processor or to an Audison amplifier equipped with a digital input, a Full DA system is created capable of achieving a new quality reference that goes well beyond the CD standard, being able to reproduce encoded audio files FLAC up to 24 bit / 96 kHz.
FLAC is a lossless algorithm, recognized as a coding standard for high resolution liquid music, it allows you to save up to 50% of the space without any loss of audio quality and is ideal for storing the entire music collection without any compression.
Total connectivity:
In addition to the analogue RCA outputs, an optical digital output is available for direct connection to an Audison bit processor or to an amplifier equipped with a digital input.
If you have a video input, you can connect the bit Play HD on the source or on an external monitor via the HDMI or composite video output and view the native interface of the media server in order to directly control the functions via remote control navigation of multimedia files and access the device configuration.
The bit Play HD plays movies in Full HD resolution.
Audison APP:
Audison always looks to the future. To control the bit Play HD, the designers wondered what the ideal device was and the response was immediate: the smartphone. The latest generation mobile devices have large displays with very high contrast and ultra-precise capacitive touch screens that allow easy file navigation.
The R&D department has developed an App compatible with Android and Apple devices that allows you to connect your smartphone to the bit Play HD via Wi-Fi network and use it as a remote manager of the multimedia catalog without the need to connect the player to an external monitor.
To play the audio files on the smartphone and in the bit Play HD, the user can use any iPhone / Android App, compatible with the DLNA standard.
Audison bit Play HD: In-car media server
The bit Play HD has two USB 2.0 sockets for connecting mass storage devices such as hard drives and pen drives. The device is designed for use in the car, for this reason a USB extension cable is provided which allows the connection jacks to be brought to the dashboard, making it easier to use removable pen drives.
To ensure better reception of the Wi-Fi signal, a specific key (Wi-Fi USB Dongle) is supplied which can be connected to the player or to a standard 1.5 m USB extension cable if the bit Play HD is installed behind metal bulkheads.
The reader software can be updated via a specific USB port which can be activated via a button, which prepares the device for updating.
To facilitate users who do not wish to have external hard drives, the bit Play HD SSD version has an internal 240 GB 2.5 "SSD solid state drive which, thanks semiconductor technology and a specially designed and cushioned mechanical housing, it is insensitive to vibrations and shaking that are generated while driving the car which are extremely deleterious for a traditional mechanical Hard Disk. In addition, the SSD is much faster than a traditional hard disk and allows maximum speed of access to multimedia content.
