Audison APS 10 S4S 25cm flat subwoofer with grill

Prima's compact subwoofer family expands with the introduction of the new 25 cm (10 inch) APS 10 S4S, optimized for cases with a reduced volume starting from 10 liters.

The single 4Ω voice coil configuration makes it ideal to be driven by the new AP F8.9 bit amplifier with integrated DSP which offers exceptional 260 W RMS power with two channels connected. Also interesting is the possibility of creating customized enclosures with two APS 10 S4S piloted by the AP 1D amplifier using the 540 W RMS delivered on the 2Ω load resulting from the connection of the drivers in parallel.

Audison APS 10 S4S main features

• Ultra-low profile (4.7 in. / 120 mm) for maximum installation flexibility.
• Designed to offer maximum performance in a sealed case starting from 10 lt.
• Geometry of the dust cover with special design that guarantees a long linear excursion (11 mm, one way) while keeping the mounting depth to a minimum.
• Air intakes on the basket under the spider, eliminating the need for a vent for the central rod which allows mounting near the rear fence wall.
• Massive engine assembly, optimized with FEM (Finite Element Modeling) for perfect control under high power, high excursion conditions.
• 10 inch water repellent treated paper cone with profile developed with FEM simulation and optimized Klippel.
• Single coil design specially developed to be combined with AP F8.9 bit amplifiers (2 CH bridge - 260 W RMS) taking advantage of the bass amplification function and integrated parametric equalizer of the integrated DSP.
• Steel grill and plastic gasket included.
