Alignment template for turntable pins

This tool is a template that allows the precise alignment of the head of the turntable arm, for maximum precision in tracking vinyl.

Procedure

Place the tool on the center of the platter pin and rotate it in the direction of the arm.

Head angle point "B"
1. Move the tool and the arm and position the stylus pin precisely in point B and check if the lateral edges of the head are parallel to the lines imprinted on the template. If they are parallel, go directly to point 3
2. If the edges are not parallel, the head must be moved laterally in the head holder until the edges are parallel to the impressed lines of the template.

3. The same procedure must be carried out at checkpoint "A". The head can be moved forward or backward by unscrewing the screws to make it slide in the slots of the head holder until it is parallel with the lines of the template. Recheck and adjust the locking points "A" and "B" until the head is parallel to the lines at both points.
4. Once the head is in the desired position, tighten the screws; if the calibration points are still correct, the alignment is completed.
