SB Acoustics SATORI MW16TX-4 6.5” TeXtreme Cone Woofer
The SB Acoustics MW16TX-8/TeXtreme uses unique materials and a vented aerodynamic cast aluminum chassis to create a premium speaker. TeXtreme is a special carbon fiber material, that uses Spread Tow technology to create extremely thin laminar carbon fiber tapes. This minimizes the weight of the material without sacrificing strength. The use of TeXtreme as a cone material allows for a very stiff and lightweight cone with controlled break-up behavior. The Dr. Kurt Muller BIMAX spider has less twist deviation for improved linear excursion. This combination makes the MW16TX-8/TeXtreme a very efficient and highly accurate speaker with good bass response.
