Hertz CK 165 L 2-way speaker kit consisting of a pair of 165mm woofers, a pair of 26mm tweeters and dedicated crossovers

The Cento line expands with the C165 L woofer, characterized by the use of unpressed paper for the cone membrane, a choice that gives this component a natural sound, with solid and controlled low frequencies.

The enhancement of the magnetic group together with the specific coil allows you to maximize the excursion of the woofer while maintaining maximum control even in the most demanding musical passages.

The CK 165 L system consists of the C 165 L woofer, the C26 tweeter and dedicated crossovers, made with selected components. The ultra-compact dimensions of the crossovers and cable connections offer the specialist greater freedom during installation.

The tweeter filter is 12 dB / oct. with two levels of attenuation while for the woofer, thanks to its normal frequency roll-off, at 6 dB / oct. made with a high diameter copper coil in pure copper, it is used to the advantage of reduced electrical losses and therefore of the efficiency of low frequencies.

The engaging low frequencies and incredible handling make the CK 165 L the perfect system for enthusiasts looking for strong emotions in the car cabin.

Characteristics of the components

Tweeter C 26:

• Soft dome in 26 mm (1 inch) Tetolon and 20 mm (0.8 inch) reel, for a natural but detailed reproduction of the musical nuances.
• Neodymium magnet with high density magnetic flux, optimized for maximum control during high energy dynamic transients in the medium-high frequency range.
• Front plate geometry optimized with the FEM (Finite Element Modeling) technique for linear frequency response in off-axis installations.
• Wide range of accessories, for easy integration into OEM placements.

Woofer C 165 L:

• Unpressed paper cone (NPP) for natural sound and powerful muffled low frequencies.
• High density flux ferrite magnet combined with low carbon polar plates to reduce distortion at high power levels.
• 25 mm (1 inch) reel sized for high excursions and winding on previous aluminum to ensure high power management.
• Compact and transparent three-spoke basket, acoustically combined with a magnetic rubber cover for total damping of spurious vibrations.
• Elegant grid in high resistance ABS plastic with metallic finish combined with a protective metal mesh.

Crossover CCX 2T - CCX 2W:

• Separate ultra-compact crossovers for woofers and tweeters, to the advantage of simplicity and flexibility of installation.
• Tweeter level adjustable via a two-position switch (0, +3 dB) for optimal tone balance that can be customized by the user.
• Capacitors and inductors in pure copper with low loss and low resistance for maximum transparency of sound and clear high frequencies.
