Hertz CK 165 F two-way speaker system with reduced installation depth, including speaker grilles.

The Cento line and its new C 165 F flat profile woofer is the solution. Thanks to a super thin basket with reduced depth that allows use in the most problematic OEM scenarios, widespread in new generation cars. The Hertz research and development team, through an extensive design process, has been able to achieve high performance even with the function of super thin basket. This was made possible by the optimization of the excursion of the mobile unit and by the new design of the geometry of the cone and the powder cup. Like the other components of the Cento range, the use of SPP-M (Semi-Pressed Paper-Mica) provides the C 165 F with a light and rigid cone that guarantees high efficiency and an extended frequency response.

Tweeter C 26:

• Soft dome made of 26 mm (1 in.) Tetolon® fiber and 20 mm (0.8 in.) Reel, for a natural and detailed reproduction of musical nuances.
• Neodymium magnet with high density magnetic flux, optimized for maximum control during high energy dynamic transients in the medium-high frequency range.
• Faceplate geometry optimized with the FEM (Finite Element Modeling) technique for linear frequency response in off-axis installations.
• Wide range of accessories, for easy integration into OEM placements.

Woofer C 165 F:

• Shallow profile for easy replacement of factory speakers.
• Semi-pressed paper cone reinforced with mica powder for superior rigidity and a smooth response.
• High density flow ferrite magnet combined with low carbon polar plates to reduce distortion at high power levels.
• Voice coil in pure copper, wound on an aluminum support, for excellent thermal and mechanical capacity.
• Elegant grill designed by combining wire mesh and high-strength ABS frame.

Crossover CCX 2:

• Tweeter level adjustment via a two-position switch (0, +3 dB) for optimal tone balance that can be customized by the user.
• Low loss factor capacitors and low resistance inductors made with pure copper, for maximum sound transparency and clear high frequencies.
• Compact design with metallic finish for easy installation, with air vents for effective heat dissipation.
