| Data sheet |
Audison USS4 is a 4-channel loudspeaker presence simulator to be used in those situations where the standard source is blocked due to a lack of load due to the desire to insert an amplifier, processor, etc. in the system.
Some serial sources have a test circuit that monitors the presence of a low-impedance load to enable the audio outputs. When you connect this type of head-unit to the high-level inputs of an Audison bit processor, which has a high impedance load, the audio outputs are muted.
By inserting the USS4 between the source and the processor / amplifier these problems are definitively resolved. If there is a need to generate a remote signal to drive the amplifier on / off, the USS4 must be powered *, which also provides the possibility of delaying the signal from 1 to 8 seconds, in order to avoid annoying "bump" on power up.
