Audison APK 690 is a speaker system consisting of a pair of 6 × 9 "woofers, a pair of AP 1 tweeters and APCX TW 690 dedicated crossovers. Ideal for car models with elliptical speakers in the door.

The crossovers are ultra-compact to facilitate their installation and include an attenuation of the tweeter's output level for exceptional fine adjustment. The R & D team has optimized the electro-acoustic parameters of the new woofers for installation in the car door, respecting all the characteristics of the Prima speakers, such as the compact dimensions of the basket to facilitate installation.

The mechanical cut of the woofers ensures that they can be used without a filter, maximizing efficiency to be easily driven by any type of amplifier. The large moving coil guarantees high power and impeccable control even in the most aggressive dynamic transients.

The double Faston connectors with direct connection to the tweeter accelerate the connection of the speakers, always guaranteeing perfect contact.

AP 1 Tweeter

• Diaphragm with a diameter of 26 mm combined with a wide winding provides maximum efficiency and a reduced resonance frequency.
• Acoustic lenses designed to compensate for the self-response frequency in the 10kHz - 13kHz bandwidth caused by critical OEM traineeships.

AP 690 woofer

• 25 mm pure copper mobile coil, for maximum power and exceptional handling, low frequency control.
• Cone in water-repellent treated paper, with profile developed with FEM (Finite Element Method) simulation technology and optimized with the Klippel R & D Scan vibrometer.
• Reduced mounting depth, which simplifies installation in OEM placements.
• "Triple Wave" surround profile for maximum linearity of the excursion. Compact basket, protected from abrasion resistant and scratch resistant coating, the motor fixed with damping epoxy adhesive.
• High current quick terminal with double positive contact and negative poles for high flexibility and quick connection.

APCX TW 690 Crossover

1. Optimized for OEM integration with attenuation switch (0 dB, + 3dB) to tune the response in the car according to different installation conditions.
2. Supplied with quick connectors that eliminate any possible connection errors.
