The Cordial is an high-end 2 way compact speaker with vintage look and modern chassis from Wavecor. The kit is delivered with Wavecor chassis of high quality: TW030WA11 tweeter and a Wavecor WF223BD02 for the bass range.

CorDial is developed by Holger Barske und Thomas Schmidt.

The crossover consists of a 2nd order high-pass filter (12 dB per octave slope) for the tweeter, a parallel capacitor for the serial resistor increases the frequency response above 10 kHz. The woofer is connected to a 3rd order low pass filter (18 dB per octave slope).

The frequency response of this speaker are very linear. The decay spectrum is nearly perfect. At low volume, i.e. 85 dB at 1 m, the nonlinear distortion is lower than 0.2% above 400 Hz and stays below 0.5% at 95 dB at 1 m.
