The Accuton C30-4-358 is a tweeter with an ultra-hard 30mm ceramic cone in a 58mm aluminum enclosure. A proprietary clamping technique allows easy mounting and adaptation to various front panel designs. Since the diaphragm's breakup frequency is above the audible range and well damped, no diaphragm cutouts are required.

Accuton C30-4-358 1.2'' Cell Tweeter 4 Ohm

 


A unique FEA-optimized underhang design with vented titanium voice coil former and dual neodymium magnet ensures low energy storage, excellent heat transfer and high excursion for low compression and extremely low distortion with values around 0.07% at 2.83 V and 0.5% max at 110 dB. The redesigned soft fabric surround centers the moving parts with improved linearity. We recommend the Accuton C30-4-358 in an application above 1800 Hz.


 


The C30-4-358 is part of the Cell Concept series of drivers from Accuton. The Cell Concept is a unique approach to driver design that uses a series of small cells to create a large diaphragm area. This allows for greater control over the diaphragm movement and results in improved sound quality
