Hertz HMD8 DSP marine amplifier and 8-channel Powersports with integrated DSP
The HMD8 DSP amplifier, powered by the DSP technology developed in Hertz Marine, has enriched the pleasure of listening while sailing. The easy-to-use PC-Software DSP interface makes the installation process a breeze, making the most of the performance of the speaker system on board the boat. The extraordinary power of 8 x 85W or 4 x 260W (RMS @ 4Ω) gives the HMD 8DSP the ability to drive the entire speaker system with authority while generating tons of crystal clear SPL up to 3 different zones of the ship. The "Power for the Waves" design philosophy features a rugged extruded aluminum housing with a corrosion-resistant PCB to ensure years of listening pleasure.
Hertz HMD8 DSP key features
Hertz DSP marine technology allows you to move freely in the boat while preserving a perfect surround effect, even when listening outdoors.
Hertz Marine DSP optimizes the acoustic performance for each of the 3 configurable listening zones, regardless of where the speakers are installed and from the passenger's point within the zone, maximizing listening pleasure while cruising.
Equipped with filter / high pass / low pass / band pass
Almost linear phase of Butterworth, Linkwitz-Riley, Bessel, Chebyshev, QLP
Parametric 10-pole graphic parametric equalizer (peaking, high shelf, low shelf, notch, pass all) ± 12 dB gain, variable Q (0.5 - 16.0)
The Hertz Navigator software allows you to create pre-optimized software installation files for a specific boat model and its installed sound system, ensuring a correct acoustic result in a very short time.
Thanks to Hertz's advanced Class D output stage, HMD8 DSP combines maximum sound quality with unmatched efficiency to be very compact and easily installed in any position on the boat.
