Good evening!

Using a pair of Dayton Audio full-range speakers, I made this pair of cube-shaped pneumatic loudspeakers.

The edge measures 168 mm and each box is made from 40 strips glued and "pinned" together without the use of screws (used only to fix the driver and the input terminals). The wood is solid cherry wood, about 50 years old, obtained from an old vat that was being transformed into firewood. The staves have been cut to make 21x21 mm square section strips: the use of the strip technique reduces the mechanical resonance of the product. For the soundproofing, 10mm thick felt sheets were used, applied to 5 internal faces of the cube (practically all except the speaker side).
